- First a Happy Newyear to all!
-
-
- I want to surf the web from my room with a modem.
- I know how to do this... that's not the problem.
- It's Amosaic... (the only graphical webbrowser for the Amiga).
- This is the dump of the version-string:
- mosaic:AMosaic-AmiTCP - Amiga Mosaic: 2.0 (pre-release) (Sep 1 1995)
-
- AM crashes a lot...
- And this is very annoying when I'm on line and when some PC-lemming is waiting
- for something goes wrong... :-(((
-
- I don't need to use AM for reading news or mailing (I use Thor for that) but
- I want to surf without fears that something might go wrong when I push a button
- or resize a window or go to that site...
-
- Do you have tips to make an AM session as stabile as possible concerning:
- - Memory (I have 6 Mb, I like to use VMM...)
- - AM/AmiTCP/MUI settings
- - Background utilites/patches
- - Perhaps a more stabile older version of AM?
- - What should/shouldn't I do
- - Should I avoid certain sites?
-
- Thanx!
